Deborah Gutierrez, CSR, RPR President
Debbie obtained her degree in Court Reporting from Pacific Coast College in San Diego, CA in 1989. She has over 15 years experience in the freelance field. Debbie also holds a CSR from the State of California. She was appointed to the MCRA Board of Directors in Spring 2000.
Lisa A. Moreria, RDR, CRR President-Elect
Lisa graduated in 1988 from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island with an associate's degree in court reporting. She began working in Boston immediately and has been here ever since. Lisa has over 17 years of experience in the field. She was appointed to the Board in 2005.
Jill Shepherd, RPR, CSR, CLR Vice President
Jill received her court reporting training in Southern California at Whitley College of Court Reporting. She has over 10 years experience in the field. Jill was also certified in the U.K. and spent three and a half years working in the Crown Court in Cardiff, Wales.  She currently holds her RPR and California CSR and is pursuing her RMR. Jill was appointed to the Board of Directors in April 2007.
Mary Piccirilli, CSR Treasurer
Mary received her education in court reporting from Mass Bay Community College, graduating in 1980. In 1987 she started G&M Court Reporting, LTD. located in Boston, MA. Mary has over 24 years of experience in the field. She was appointed to the Board in 2005.
Virginia Dodge, CSR, RPR, CRR Secretary
Virginia is a 1990 graduate of Katharine Gibbs School with an associate's degree in secretarial arts. She studied court reporting with Ethel Kelley and Jack Loynd, passed the Massachusetts CSR in 1995, the RPR in 1996 and earned her CRR in November 2006. Virginia was appointed to the board in 2007.
Loretta Hennessey, RPR, RMR, RDR, CRR Immediate Past President Loretta received her court reporting education at Touch Shorthand Academy in Boston, Massachusetts and has been reporting in the freelance field since 1977. She became the owner of Hennessey Corp. d/b/a Robert H. Lange Company in December of 1999. Loretta has been on the MCRA Board of Directors since 2000 and has served as Treasurer since 2001.
Carol DiFazio, RPR Director
Carol attended Touch Shorthand Academy and now has 26 years of court reporting experiences. She passed her CSR in 1980, her RPR in 1982, and the Superior Court Test in 1989. She started her career with Leavitt Reporting and became a co-owner in 2002. Believe it or not, she's still lovin' it!!
James Gibbons, CSR, RPR, RMR Director
Jim obtained his court reporting education from Massachusetts Bay Community College and under the tutelage of Mr. John "Jack" Loynd. He reported in the freelance field from 1982 to present. In addition, Jim is the First Circuit Representative for the United States Court Reports Association, serving on several USCRA committees since 2002. He has served on the MCRA Board of Directors since 2002.
Michelle Kaczynski, RPR Director
Michelle started court reporting in 1984 after earning a Certificate of Proficiency in Court and Conference Reporting at Oakland Community College, Farmington Hills, Michigan. In 1995 she graduated with honors from Emerson College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, and in 2008 earned her Master of Science at Boston University. Since 1993 Michelle and her husband Anthony have owned and operated Kaczynski Reporting in Boston. Michelle was appointed to the Board in 2006.
Sue Garvin, CSR, RPR Director
Sue obtained her degree in Court Reporting from Johnson & Wales, Providence, RI in 1983. She has been an Official Court Reporter in Massachusetts Superior Court since 1985. She was first appointed in Western MA, followed by Suffolk Superior and now reports in Worcester. She has been a previous member of the MA Superior Court Examination Committee and served on the MCRA Board as both Director and President (1996-97).
Stacie Reiser Executive Director
Stacie came on board as Executive Director for MCRA in the Fall of 2007. She has worked with MCRA on their annual convention since 2005 and eagerly accepted the offer to assist the association in this role. She has over 15 years of experience managing meetings, events and conferences and holds a degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Travel Administration from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst.
