Trial 4 – An Inside Look Into an Innocent Man’s Quest for Freedom

Presented by Attorney Rosemary Curran Scapicchio and Sean Ellis

From the riveting Netflix original docuseries Trial 4, MCRA is excited to present Attorney Rosemary Curran Scapicchio and her client Sean Ellis. Attorney Scapicchio will share with us her work on one of the biggest cases of her career in which her client, Sean Ellis, was wrongfully convicted for the murder of a Boston Police detective in 1993 and her fight to free him after 22 years in prison.  You will hear firsthand how Attorney Scapicchio tirelessly uncovered corruption and misconduct in our own Boston Police Department which led to Sean Ellis’ freedom, a Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court ruling granting him a retrial, and now a quest to clear Mr. Ellis’ name.  You will be inspired after hearing Mr. Ellis’ story of courage, faith, and unwavering persistence.
